We are going to begin our electives this Friday! If your child hasn't already given me the paper with his or her top three preferences, please be sure to give it to me by tomorrow. The students will be able to choose a new elective for every term. I encourage the students to try something new that sounds interesting!
The elective forms were stapled into the students' assignment books on Tuesday, along with a participation form for this Saturday's parent and teacher orientation morning (from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.). If you haven't already, please have your child return the form to me by Thursday, as well.
Tonight's homework: In your classroom notebook, write five sentences about your five senses. Example: I like to taste new food with my mom. Can you smell something delicious? I'm sorry, I can't hear you. My new bed feels so soft! Can you see the beautiful rainbow in the sky?
