Today in the second grade, we:

- echo read "All in the Family" and compared our own families to Camila's family in preparation for tomorrow's sharing time in reading and phonics class
- worked with today's number (7) and practiced counting on a number line to find a sum in math class
- discussed the difference between a city and state in social studies class
- continued
our unit on measurement by measuring weight with a scale, as well as
comparing the temperature of the different U.S. and Taiwanese cities in science class
- attended an assembly conducted by Sister Heart during ECA
|
The students worked on a Venn Diagram comparing their own families with Camila's family (from the story "All in the Family" from our Journeys book) |
