Today in the second grade, we:

• spent the morning at the first mass of the school year (you can check out the video of the students singing below!)
• worked with our daily number (18) and continued to practice using greater and less in math class
• practiced using the inquiry skills we learned in science class
• previewed next week's spelling words, pair read "Henry and Mudge" from Journeys, and practiced our monthly poem and song in reading and phonics class

Tonight's Homework:

Complete Social Studies Activity Book pg. 2-3.

Thank you for sending your child to school prepared with everything they need! I appreciate it! Tomorrow the students will have P.E., so they should come dressed in their P.E. uniform.
