Today in the second grade, we:
- learned more about fidelity during the weekly assembly
- took our weekly spelling quiz and took turns sharing in front of the class during language and spelling class
- learned about how math can be used in the arts in math class
- compared narrative paragraphs with research reports in reading and phonics class
- learned more about what natural resources are and why it is important to conserve them in social studies class
Tonight's homework:
Complete the green two-sided reading and reading responses on measurement.
Next week's spelling words (for Monday, January 26th) will come from Math pg. 123-145:

If you have any questions about any of the materials, just write me a note in your child's communication book. Thank you! The students have been instructed to return their five-pocket folders tomorrow.
