Today in the second grade, we:
- listened to an example of Friday's sharing time and brainstormed points that we could present, continued to work with nouns (check out this fun and nostalgic video clip) and continued our cursive writing unit in language and spelling class
- started chapter 5 and practiced finding the value of a digit by identifying numbers in the tens and ones places in math class
- discussed the concept of peace and brainstormed ways we can be peacemakers in social studies class
- learned about a few different habitats (rain forest, woodlands, lagoon) in science class

- Log onto your Science Fusion account to watch the 3rd video of Unit 3: "How Do Body Coverings Help Animals?" and complete the accompanying worksheet. The students have already started this worksheet and some have completed it.
- Read aloud for 15 minutes and have a parent sign your reading log.
- Complete the outline for Friday's sharing time. The students have already started this worksheet and some have completed it.
