Wednesday, May 18th, 2016

Today in the second grade, we:
  • reviewed this quarter's target vocabulary and wrote original sentences using titles (names and books) in language and spelling class
  • visited the library to check out new books
  • took our chapter 15 quiz in math class
  • learned about goods and services in social studies class
  • practiced our poems (most of the students have them almost memorized) and listened to and discussed our latest class story (Greg's mom brought along Flat Stanley on their family road trip)
  • identified ways magnets are used around the world (ex: MRI machines, Maglev trains, cranes, etc.) and how they are essential in today's technological society during science class

Tonight's Homework:
  • Complete Science Fusion pg. 404-406.
  • Read aloud for 15 minutes and have a parent sign your reading log.  
Announcements:
  • The G2 students have their quarter four Christian Living exam tomorrow.
