- reviewed our weekly target vocabulary and practiced identifying and pronouncing words with the "nd" and "st" consonant blends in reading and phonics class
- took turns sharing information about where we were born during our weekly sharing time and continued our cursive writing unit in language and spelling class
- continued to practice our dance moves in dance class
- identified different adaptations that plants and animals have developed to survive and thrive in their environments in science class
- we also found time to finish the end of "Chocolate Fever," complete our letters to Bear or Little Brown Squirrel, and read our first letters from our pen pals in Canada!Some pictures of yesterday's time weeding and watering our school's garden.

Tonight's Homework:
- Complete Journeys Practice Book pg. 60-61.
- Complete the Think-Tac-Toe (in your child's language notebook.) The
students are directed to choose three activities from the sheet. Please
sign each activity they complete. All written work should be shown in
your child's language notebook.
The cartoon that the students were recommended to watch on the TTT is:
Wild Kratts: The Food Chain Game Gang. - Read aloud for 15 minutes and have a parent sign your reading log.
- Prepare for next Monday's (December 7th) spelling quiz: plane, shapes, triangle, circle, rectangle, square, hexagon, trapezoid, side, vertex, vertices, angle, congruent, line, symmetry, curve (from Math, chapter 7.)
- The tuition slip for the second semester is in your child's assignment book.
- I will be sending home your child's pocket folder next Monday, December 7th.
