- identify the word that names the action (ex: The lion chased the mouse down the tunnel.)
-choose the correct verb in each sentence according to pronoun agreement (ex: We all like, likes apple pie.)
-complete sentences using "is" or "are"
-complete sentences using "was" or "were"
-write the correct contraction for do not, does not, is not, can not, there is, they are, we are, you are, we will should not, have not, would not, did not, they will, you have, will not.
-choose the best adjective to complete sentences
-identify the adjective in sentences
-write "a" or "an" to complete sentences
-choose the correct superlative (the longest) or comparative adjective (longer than) to complete sentences
