DISK is collecting donations for the Vatican. If you are interested in donating, there is an envelope in your child's assignment book.
- identified sentences that should or could end in exclamation marks, worked on the outline for Friday's sharing time, and continued our cursive writing unit in language and spelling class
- worked with today's number (28) and postponed our lesson in data probability to make pizza and celebrate Sophie's birthday in math class
- compared and contrasted the roles and responsibilities of the city council with that of the state legislature in social studies class
- took our unit 2 quiz and previewed unit 3 in science class

Tonight's Homework:
- Log onto your Science Fusion account to watch the 1st video of Unit 3: "What are Animal Needs?" and complete the accompanying worksheet. The students have already started this worksheet.
- Read aloud for 15 minutes and have a parent sign your reading log.
- Complete the outline for Friday's sharing time (some students have already completed this.)
