Today in the second grade, we:
Tonight's Homework:
- differentiated between vowel digraphs (ex: book, pool, bread) in reading and phonics class
- reviewed this week's target vocabulary and worked on revising our class stories, this time checking to make sure we capitalized proper nouns (ex: days of the week) in language and spelling class
- practiced mental math and used coins to show an exact amount of money in math class
- compared vibration, pitch and loudness with everyday objects during science class
- met with our K2 reading buddies during ECA
- Complete Social Studies Activity Book pg. 61-62.
- Read aloud for 15 minutes and have a parent sign your reading log.
- Library day tomorrow: the children are reminded to bring their library books.
- P.E. day tomorrow: the children are reminded to wear their P.E. uniforms.
