Today in the second grade, we:
Tonight's Homework:
- reviewed this week's target vocabulary, used adjectives that describe texture and sound to write sentences, and started the final copy of our advertisements in language and spelling class
- visited the library to check out new books and started our new story
- practiced writing multi-step subtraction word problems and checked subtraction by using addition in math class
- compared evaporation with condensation and reviewed the key concepts from chapter 9 in preparation for tomorrow's quiz in science class
- identified reasons why we celebrate Thanksgiving in social studies class
- found a bit more time to watch some more "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and enjoy some popcorn
- Complete Science Fusion pg. 370-372.
- Read aloud for 15 minutes and have a parent sign your reading log.
- Prepare for tomorrow's science quiz on chapter 9.
